Cutlery Corner is owned by my (Savanna Sorensen) uncle, Gordon Gunn. It is located on 190 S. 400 E. in Orem. He has been in business for 30+ years in Salt Lake & Utah County (you might have seen him in South Towne Mall but he moved out because of the economy). Cutlery Corner specializes in selling and sharpening knives, scissors, shears, kitchen knives and more. They have killer Victorinox paring knives that are great and inexpensive. I know...because I used to work for him many years ago.
I talked to Gordon and he said if you mention that you are one of the Maples Moms, he will sharpen two knives for FREE. He will also give you an EXTRA 10% OFF any kitchen knife purchase. Most his knives are already discounted 25% off MSRP so that makes this a great deal.
I realize that Cutlery Corner is a long ways away for most of us. I would be happy to deliver your knives for sharpening if you like. You can have them back the same day when I'm headed down that way.
